When different religious principles meet (The Hague, Netherlands, 2010)Group exhibition in Het Nutshuis "The Hague, city of the future"

At the moment 11% of all inhabitants of The Hague has an Islamic background. It consist for an important amount of young people. Young people bring new ideas and standards. There is a growth in mixed relationships. It's these people who will shape the future The Hague and break with old standards. 

For this series I found couples of whom one has Islamic beliefs and the partner cherishes other religious principle. I photographed them in every day settings, as this will be a common scene in future The Hague too.
